Characteristics:

1.Fortune Cat^® Photochromic Color Masterbatch-PP Series is composed of a carrier, photoresist dyes, and active additives, suitable for the production of polypropylene fibers and injection molded parts. The products produced by Fortune Cat^® Photochromic Color Masterbatch-PP Series have long-lasting photochromic properties, and are colorless (or the product’s natural color) in dark or indoor light environments. The product’s color quickly appears under UV or sunlight irradiation, and when isolated from UV light sources, it returns to colorless (or the product’s natural color), Optimizing the formula composition can effectively improve issues such as poor durability, comfort, and breathability compared to traditional photochromic products. There are various color changing masterbatches available, including red, peach, plum, purple, orange, yellow, blue, green, etc.

2.Add 2.5% -4% (wt) mixture to the polypropylene carrier during use, and obtain various color changing parts through screw melting processing.

Notes:

Try to avoid or reduce the heating process time above 250 ℃ as much as possible.

Avoid or reduce the use of combination with other ingredients.

Store in a dry, airtight, dark place, away from direct sunlight.

Color changing materials all have a service life, and prolonged exposure to high-intensity ultraviolet radiation on finished products can result in a deterioration of the color changing effect and a shortened service life. There are differences in the upper limit of weather resistance for different colors.

Finished products should avoid high-temperature washing and the use of strong acid, alkali, or peroxide containing strong washing products.

This series currently has two color changing masterbatches, yellow and red.
